So, here’s the story. I was invited to a brunch taking place tomorrow which I’m very excited to attend. Only thing is, it’s an all-white event. Now, I have a few white separates but nothing that really “goes” together. I’m also on the tightest budget EVER in the history of time. What’s a girl to do?! I took to Google the other night, brainstorming, using my PhotoGrid app to make a quick collage: Folake of Style Pantry always gets it right! A dress takes the guess work out of “what to wear” since it’s basically a top and bottom in one and her maxi is spot on. I added another basic maxi to the mix as well as a few separates just for some inspiration. I often like to accent a neutral, monochromatic palette (esp. white) with color color color, so I thought I’d go with my coral Lizette pumps…

This week’s mani is brought to you by my favorite colors {as of last year}: coral and teal. I acquired this coral polish at a friend’s wardrobe & accessory sale last summer. I had to have it! This particular shade, Blazed, seems to be a rather old nail color from Wet n Wild‘s Wet Shine line as I’m seeing reviews dating as far back as 2011. Pairing it with Sinful Color’s Rise and Shine was a no-brainer. They were meant to be! I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to do an accent nail this time around but I went ahead and tried a little something. Hey my peoples! Welp, after all the back and forth about what I was gonna do with this hair of mine, I finally settled on doing Marley Twists and I am SO excited to start styling these babies! I have a how-to video on the way but I know some of you may have some questions about the process so I’ve put this together for ya… How long did it take you?
