To help Loux celebrate this amazing brand, I took the Naturalicious 1 Hour Wash Day Challenge! With the OooLaLocks Hair Box, I went from wash to ready-to-style in less than an hour... about 30 minutes, to be exact!

Wow. I haven’t done a product review in a minute and this one is SUPER late for a ton of reasons which I’ll spare you for now, so… let’s get to it! Many moons ago, I posted on Instagram that I tried a certain Rhassoul & Bentonite shampoo bar. I was soon after contacted by the creator of Naturalicious, Gwen, who saw this post and thought I might like to try her Rhassoul Clay product- Moroccan Rhassoul 5-in-1 Clay Treatment– seeing as how I had a decent experience with the shampoo bar from this other brand. Although I expressed that I may not get to review her product right away, Gwen was totally cool with that and was happy to send along the product anyway. She asked if I considered my hair to be kinky/coily or curly/wavy. Here’s what I got… Product Claim (from the creator herself): “it’s the only ready-to-use liquid…

Recently, I decided it was time I go through my stash of goodie bag samples and actually try out some stuff. I believe I received this duo by Elucence at the Halo Beauty Lounge event I attended over the summer. The brand was completely new to me so I was eager to give it a try and share my thoughts with you! Moisture Benefits Shampoo | $6, 10 oz. Key Ingredients: Peach extract, Irish moss, anise seed, ginseng, gingko hydrate wheat protein, polysaccharides |Glycerin Free, Silicone Free “This gentle cleansing shampoo contains peach extract, irish moss, ginseng and wheat protein — all of which moisturize and condition hair without weighing it down. Moisture Benefits Shampoo soothes and replenishes, leaving your hair feeling healthy and refreshed.” My Experience The smell is amazing! I instantly get the hints of peach with one whiff. Kinda reminds me of moscato. So yummy! Clearly, a little goes…
Hello and thank you for joining me for part two of my Original Moxie review! Last time, you saw how I used two of the products on wash day (here it is in case you mised it). After washing, I did a blowout using one of the styling products I received, Lux Locks Styling and Shine along with a small dollop of grapeseed oil as a heat protectant. Lux Locks Styling & Shine- 6 oz. $18 {For thick, dry hair that soaks up heavier creams and craves moisture and definition.} Claim: “…penetrating moisture & natural ingredients without product build up! The key is our unique blend of Shea & Ucuuba Butters, both exceptionally rich sources of Vitamins and Omega Fatty Acids, which deliver deep moisture to dry hair, and create a smooth, glossy finish that lasts and lasts.” How can I describe the smell of this?? Hmmm… this is a tough one.…
Haven’t done an official product review in quite a while… I’m gonna get better with that for sure! 😉 This review features some goodies I received from Original Moxie to try out. Having been huge fan of their Hair Bling High Shine Pomade and Twist Mist Lightweight Shine for styling, I was eager to try out their cleansing and conditioning products. What I love the most about Original Moxie is their commitment to quality natural ingredients. While most of us are used to “conventional” ingredients like shea butter, EVOO and aloe, OM pushes the envelope by including an array of nourishing herbs and botanicals, some I had never even heard of! Welp, here we go! Get Clean! No-Foam Shampoo- 8oz. $16 {All curl types. For those with dry hair or scalp issues like dandruff or itchiness} Claim: “Sulfates, the chemicals that produce heavy foam, also strip hair of its natural oils. …
