Soooo… remember how I bought that dress for my cousin’s wedding last month and how it was a fail? Well, I found something else just in time! Here’s what I ended up with. Ya liiiike? š With limited time AND funds, my sister and I made a thrift shop run to find ‘fits for this wedding. I decided to finally hit up a spot in Brooklyn that style & natural hair vlogger Keisha G. aka Ahsiek1118 raves about. With many of her thrifted finds going for under $10 per item, I was confident I’d find something nice for dirt cheap. I’ll do a separate post on all of the ridiculous deals I found but for now, let’s concentrate on this skirt. I got this beautiful bubble skirt for the low, low price of $4!! Happy Friday y’all. *le sigh* The dress that I ordered for my cousin’s wedding arrived on Tuesday. Welp, I tried it on… I was hopeful but as I kinda expected, it just didn’t work. My body is… special. While I have a very small top area, the bottom half is a completely different story. That being the case, I need to buy a size big enough to compensate for the thighs and “junk in the trunk”. (LOL!) Well, you may not be able to tell much from my pic (it was the best I could do at the time) but it was too tight, a lot shorter than I expected and honestly, the overall cut of the dress was just all wrong for me!
