Hey NYC! On Saturday, February 8th 2014 the event Know Your Roots: Natural Hair and the “Movement” will be held from 1 PM to 6 PM at Dinosaur BBQ in Harlem, NY. Presented by Locs Revolution, Unveiled Unlocked and the Follicle film production team, this event aims to raise funds for the Follicle film project while engaging the community in an interactive dialogue about culture, identity and what has come to be known as “The Natural Hair Movement.” What To Expect This event will feature vendors selling goods and services, guest speakers, hair demos and presentations, raffle prizes, food, gift bags for the first 100 attendees and more.
