This past Fashion Week in New York City, I was excited to join the Optimum Amla Legend style squad for a behind-the-scenes view at the looks they executed for the Edwing D’Angelo Fall/Winter 2014 show! As a proud sponsor of the show, Optimum was responsible for complementing D’Angelo’s designs with simple yet slightly edgy hair. SoftSheen-Carson Director of Education Mezei Jefferson explains the looks and their inspiration: “We’re giving an anarchy look to it, like French Revolution… so we’re giving them the part down the center, sweeping all the hair over to the side, long ponytail then we’re wrapping it with the gold cord to give it that kind of bold feel.
