On the feet: red satin Burberry Prorsum wedges. *swoon* She tops it off with a perfectly coiffed fro to seal the deal. Sooooo, basically what I’m saying is… WEEERRRRRRKK!!! *two snaps in a circle* Head-to-toe, she’s giving me all types of life… and that’s all I have to say about that! Last Saturday, Scarlett Rocourt, creator of Wonder Curl, launched two new products to add to her amazing collection of hair care goodies at Meko New York Natural hair Care Spa in Orange, NJ. Say hello to the Detoxifying Clay Cleanser and Restoring Hair Treatment. With the assistance of hair care professional and Meko New York owner Simeko Watkins-Hartley, Scarlett showed us how the Clay works to cleanse the hair and scalp of impurities, detangles and conditions the hair all at once. The Restoring Hair Treatment contains shea butter, avocado butter, EVOO, tamanu oil and hair vitamins which penetrate the hair to strengthen from within to help revitalize dry kinks and curls. Every now and then, I’m approached by women who have found themselves at a place where they just don’t know where to begin to build a decent wardrobe OR who haven’t quite found their style. My answer to them is always to start with the basics! You gotta crawl before you can walk, right? So, if you find yourself to be “fashion-challenged”, you cannot just jump into a particular trend or hop on the latest thing that’s hot in the streets! For one thing, not everything looks good on everyone. While you might be rockin’ something that’s on trend, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s for you.
