Summers in New York always bring lots of fun stuff to do with the fam! The International African Arts Festival returned to Brooklyn’s Commodore Barry Park Thursday July 4th through Sunday July 7th and this would be my first time attending… YIPPEE! With temps in the 90s over the past week, I needed to keep things light and airy so I would be comfortable while taking in the sights. What better way to do so than with an über-colorful, flowy kimono maxi dress. I got this one from H&M last year… LOVE the abstract print! Solange absolutely KILT it at MOMA’s The Great Gatsby screening yesterday in this striped Jill Stuart dress straight from the Fall 2013 runway show! On the feet: red satin Burberry Prorsum wedges. *swoon* She tops it off with a perfectly coiffed fro to seal the deal.
