Matinée movie date with the hubs… work immediately afterwards. I finally dug my Pro-Keds out from under the bed a couple weeks ago. I had been rocking my very serious, good-for-your-feet running sneakers at work (lots of standing and walking involved in my job) but I thought it was about time I break out the fun kicks. Scored these puppies at the no longer existing Daffy’s department store some years back. Of course, that isn’t what I went for but I couldn’t pass up the deal, especially since they were the last pair in the store and in my size. I can’t get enough of skirts in the summertime! The maxi is a definite love but what really makes me wanna skip through a meadow is a great-fitting circle skirt… the midi, more specifically. What better way to represent at a breakfast and hair care line presentation with the crew at SoftSheen-Carson than to get a little ‘dolled-up’ with my (relatively) new favorite BRIGHT floral midi skirt! Who passes up 56 cent pancakes at IHOP?! Not THIS girl! Heading over to the Union Square/Gramercy restaurant to get our grub on, comfort was the name of the game. It couldn’t get anymore… comfortabler– HA!- than this cotton maxi skirt from H&M. Representing my brand, I paired this cozy maxi with my Natural Beauty tank. Did you catch the way my hair matches the graphic {drawn my the hubster, btw}? Teehee! 😉 I love this skirt so much, I wore it again the next day… and then bought this one! The best part, which I forgot to show off in these pics, is that it’s got POCKETS! Weeee! Besides the comfort, this maxi is so versatile and super easy to just throw on to go wherever.
