Hair Tip Tuesday: 4 Ways to Cope When Your ‘Do Just Don’t!
It happens to the best of us. We return to our natural texture, get excited about products, hairstyles, the whole gambit and then we hit this… plateau where we we’ve lost the creativity we once had or maybe we lack the energy, time or even the desire, for that matter, to deal with our hair. What’s a girl to do? How do you climb out of this rut?! Fashion Friday: Candy Stripes ‘n’ Kicks
Matinée movie date with the hubs… work immediately afterwards. I finally dug my Pro-Keds out from under the bed a couple weeks ago. I had been rocking my very serious, good-for-your-feet running sneakers at work (lots of standing and walking involved in my job) but I thought it was about time I break out the fun kicks. A couple days after posting, a friend of mine shared an article with a related topic from a slightly different angle. I thought it would be a good followup. The topic? Naturals getting up in arms about the changes popular vloggers made to their hair. O_O #iCant As was mentioned last week, admiration is all good in the hood. I follow a number of vloggers myself and it’s nice to check in on ’em to see what they’re up to every so often. It becomes an issue when one begins to pay SO much attention to and get so wrapped up in someone…

I kinda do a little dance when I discover a natural beauty with amazing style. Blogging and social media have surely connected me with quite a few fly chicks along the way. Please add this cutie pie to the list! Meet this month’s Natural Fashionista… Hey lovers!! I’m Vic Styles. I live in LA by way of Alabama & DC. I’m a full time wardrobe stylist, fashion blogger and, of course, a naturalista. How long have you been wearing your hair in its natural state and what made you decide to take that step? I have been natural my entire life. My mother never put a relaxer in my hair and I honestly had no knowledge about chemically processing my hair. I just knew this was how it grew out of my head so this is what I have to work with. What do you love the most about your…
