I should’ve known better than to think I’d be able to pump out a post per day around the same time that I’d be putting the finishing touches on my event!
Hey, ya gotta admit, I was good up until the 5th! 😉 But WOW… the day before the event included so much that writing even a quick blog post was the last thing on my mind: errand-running, responding to email inquiries, sending last-minute reminders, washing my hair and the list goes on!
I figured once the event was over things would settle down and I’d be able to have a nice, sound sleep. NOPE! Going to bed at 4 AM Saturday morning (event day!) threw my whole sleep schedule off somethin’ awful for the next few nights! When I DID finally get some sleep, I’d wake up at all kinds of hours… I mean WIDE awake! Guess I was still wired from all the excitement. So ya girl has been spending the past few days just trying to recoop, take it easy (translation: plenty of naps!) and get her body and mind back to normal.
With five days out of the month already gone with no blog posts, my new, more realistic goal is simply to write as much new content as I can this month. The plan? Lay all of my ideas out on an editorial calendar and get to work!
Thanks for continuing to stick with me and for being so understanding in regard to my recent hiatuses.
