since my hair is super tangled, I'm going to "pre-poo" my hair using an oil along with steam to make the wash process easier & less damaging..

after steaming and thoroughly detangling each section, I twist it up and move onto the next!

time to wash! I thoroughly cleanse my hair and scalp, massaging with my fingertips, and follow up with my conditioner, fully detangling the hair with my brush.

after lightly blowing out my hair, I part a medium section of hair, apply cream, twist 3/4 down, then add a perm rod to the ends.

the next day, I gently remove the rods and apply some oil to smooth the hair & prevent frizz.

next, I unravel each twist & separate as needed (doing so where the hair naturally separates). Then shake & pick through the roots to fill in gaps.

for an alternate look, I pull some hair from the side to towards the back and secure with 2 side combs.
