I'm starting off with hair that was already cleansed, conditioned, moisturized & then air dried.

I prep my steamer, filling the reservoir with distilled water & apply steam to stretch my kinks.

after applying steam, I brush through the hair with a detangling brush. notice the difference!

once the hair is all detangled, I twist the section up.

I continue the process, combing through with the hair steamer, brushing through & twisting!

look at the difference between the hair that's steamed & the hair that isn't! dope, right?!

I can't get over the bounce!

BTW, not using any product to twist since I already applied a leave-in conditioner & oil after washing.

for a neat final look, I brush the ends of the hair so they're nice & smooth.

the next day, I apply some oil to my hands to prevent frizz when I take my twists down.

I unravel the twists once, give my hair a shake & then separate each section a few times for volume.

*TIP* separate the hair where it naturally wants to separate for a neater finish.

In love with how soft my hair is!

as I separate, I like to twirl the ends to make sure they stay looking good & not scraggly.

I pick for more volume & to fill in any gaps & then clean up my middle part.

I like to add a little oil at the part just to make sure there's no dryness.

to finish, I fluff to make sure I've got the volume I want & to ensure there are no empty spaces.

one last shake helps all of the hair naturally fall into place! VOILA!
