dry hair is more prone to split ends. to keep them at bay, boost the moisture with a good deep conditioner. take it further by layering a good leave-in conditioner onto damp hair & sealing with an oil or butter. also, drink your water!

retain moisture & lessen the chance of split ends by tucking your ends in a style that'll keep them protected. any low-manipulation style - from a bun to Marley Twists - will work. as long are your ends are hidden, you're good!

regular trims will keep your hair looking fresh & will literally nip any damage in the bud. if there's any breakage, a trim will prevent it from turning into a split up the hair shaft. "regular" is different for everyone depending on lifestyle. but a good schedule is once every season.
