3 Signs Your Natural Hair Needs a Trim!
I can understand why some may shy away from getting a trim - couple hair shrinkage with scissor-happy stylists and it's hands off! when you've worked hard to achieve some length, cutting some of it off is the LAST thing you wanna hear!
but the fact is, regular trims are necessary for overall hair health! but, how will you even know when you need a trim? basically, you have to "listen to" or watch your hair. here are three things to look out for:
1
KNOTS
curly/kinky hair is more susceptible to "fairy knots" where one strand will wrap around itself & form a knot. keep knots at bay by keeping hair moisturized & protective styling. but after a while, it's best to just get that trim!

2
breakage
some think that their hair isn't growing when the real issue is they aren't retaining length due to breakage. when unhealthy pieces of hair break off (often due to dryness) it may be time to refresh those ends with a trim!

3
split ends
split ends happen. but the best way to lessen the chance of them getting worse is to, literally, nip them in the bud! there's no magic product that'll repair split ends. you MUST cut them off!
