Started From The 1st Now We Here! #31WriteNow Blog Challenge

Woooooohooo!! I made it! We made it! Shoutout to Awesomely Luvvie for introducing this challenge and all my #31WriteNow blogger buddies who stuck it out for the whole month of August including Naturally Supreme, Love. Embrace. Inspire., Kitten Heel Marvel, NaturallyMe35, and The HodgePodge Files. Even if you missed a day or two, the effort was definitely evident and for that, I give you props! I truly appreciate the encouragement and the support between us was amazing. ♥♥

Now, I’m not gonna act like this was a walk in the park… a “challenge” it was. Quite a number of articles made it in just before the stroke of midnight or a few hours before but hey, as long as it was “today”, it counted! LOL!

As I began this challenge, I gulped in nervousness wondering if I would be able to come up with content interesting or even entertaining enough to fill 31 days. Well, I definitely gotta thank Naturally Supreme for the idea of sharing “Random Facts” about ourselves (that took care of TWO days… whew!). For other posts, I found inspiration on social media as well as just day-to-day conversation and daily happenings. Many ideas never even made it to the keyboard but they currently sit drafted, either in my WordPress dashboard or in my noggin LOL but they’ll make it to “print” soon, I’m sure.

In the process, I created a new weekly feature for the blog and I’ve also got some other great things cooking up for ToBNatural‘s future. This challenge really stimulated me creatively and I learned that when I challenge myself, I can get stuff done, something that’ll definitely help me out in other facets of life, don’tcha think?! 😉

Overall, I love what has happened to the blog (and ME!) as a result of this blogging challenge. Sure, the traffic has grown as well as the participation by way of comments- *singing* LOVVVVVE IT!- but I was determined to do something and, although a little wobbly-kneed at first, I stuck to it!

Anywho, thank YOU for riding with me thus far. I really appreciate you folks, for realz! Just because the challenge is over doesn’t mean I stop typing. I’ll continue to do my best to bring you quality stuff *nodding*.
