Curl defining products will only define the type of curl you already have. They will not create a new one!
Outside of something containing chemicals, there is no product you can put on your hair that will turn it from tight kinky coils to flowy, bouncy, loose curls in one easy application.

If you start off with damp hair and use a little product like a hair pudding or cream and maybe a little gel for hold, then sit under the dryer or let it air dry, you’ll get the best results.
I need to get some curl formers. I am on a 60 day no heat challenge. I have killed my curl pattern after years of straightening so I need a little help. I will definitely try on damp hair cause I don’t have the time to wait for my hair to dry.

Thanks for clarifying this point. Not everything is for everybody! I also spent many hours on you-tube seeking the quick and easy for my short tapered natural. Only to find that a good curl defining cream and some leave in conditioner is all I needed after a good wash.
