Locs Revolution is doing it again with the second annual Loc Appreciation Day event, The Art of Revolution. The festivities are going down Saturday, June 28th 2014 at the DiMenna Center in New York City.
Hosting this time around is vlogger, actress, graphic designer and comedian Franchesca Ramsey aka Chescaleigh.
This year’s keynote speaker is Isis “Naturally Isis” Brantley of The Institute for Ancestral Hair Braiding. She’ll be joined by blogger extraordinaire, award-winning writer, humorist and digital strategist Luvvie Ajayi. A ten-year blogging veteran, she is the voice behind Awesomely Luvvie, a respected entertainment and humor blog that covers everything pop culture – from TV, movies and technology to life’s random adventures.
Also on deck is speaker and performing artist Shaun Derik. Having witnessed his talents at a past event, I can honestly agree that through his dynamic delivery, those in attendance leave Shaun’s presentations feeling motivated and ready to take on the world.
Maria Thompson, owner of Twist and Curves joins the crew for #LADNYC2014. As a Licensed Cosmetologist and an Artistic Master Braid Designer and Educator for the past 35 years, she brings much experience and know-how to the table.
Locs Revolution’s Niyya Tenée has really gathered some amazing folks so grab your tickets here before midnight or purchase at the door for a few bucks more.
Will you be there?!
