We can spend a load on the latest thing to get THE perfect hair but guess what? All those products, pills and hair potions can mean nothing if you lack consistency!
Yep. Finding the right products for your hair is only half the battle. Once you’ve got that together, it’s a good idea to figure out a regular schedule of washing, conditioning and moisturizing that works best for you, otherwise known as a regimen. YOU. Not your BFF or your favorite YouTuber. You! There’s no one strict rule for every natural as to the frequency of their regimen. How could there be?! Everyone’s hair is different and will need a different routine of care depending, not only on the makeup of the hair itself but also on the person’s lifestyle… probably even more so.
For example…
A person who works out daily may wash or cowash their hair just as of often while others may not find it necessary to do so because their personal lifestyle doesn’t require it. You may have a weekly wash day to keep your scalp and hair buildup-free if you tend to use a lot of product. If not, maybe its bi-weekly. Hair thrives best when it grows from a clean environment, free of excessive dirt or buildup. As long as you’ve got that covered, whatever the frequency, fabulous! The bottom line is, what you decide for yourself according to your schedule and hair needs, do your best to stick to it.
Maybe you’re taking vitamins/supplements, exercising more or making better food choices to assist with hair health and growth. Whatever you’re doing, be regular! Maintaining consistency is key to seeing results!
Tell me… How do you maintain regularity with your hair care regimen? Do you mark your calendar? Set an alarm? Or are you good with keeping to a mental schedule?
Happy growing! 😉

great blog!
Yes I agree! I’ve tried a lot of regimes to see what works for my hair but when I’ve kept to one particular regime I’ve seen the benefits. I usually keep a mental note of when my wash day is and I try not to change it at all.
