…keep in mind that they do not REPLACE a balanced diet.
There are a number of these types of pills and vitamins on the market right now which promise to give you amazing results in a relatively short amount of time, most of them showing you impressive ‘before and after’ shots to prove their worth. Not saying they don’t work or won’t work for you, but you want to make sure that when and if you do decide to use them as a part of your hair regimen that you aren’t neglecting the other important factors that contribute to the health of your hair.
“Supplement” is defined as “something added to complete a thing, supply a deficiency or reinforce or extend a whole”. That said, they are meant to be used to sort of fill in the gaps where we may be lacking in the nutrition department, not as a substitute. Instead of depending solely on your multivitamins, supplements or hair pills to provide you with all the goodness you need to improve or maintain hair health, rely on a balanced diet as your main source of nutrients.
