The Cutest Pregnancy Illustration You’ll See Today

I think, by now, the majority of you are aware that I, as they say, am “with child”… have a “bun in the oven”… I’m preggers! Teeheehee. A week ago, I announced that it’s a boy! What you may NOT know is that my husband is a rather skilled artist. While he is a “fanboy” and does mostly comic book-type art, he is no stranger to other styles and is constantly growing. This pregnancy illustration is a great example!

As an artist, it doesn’t take much for him to find the inspiration to draw. He’ll draw just about anything that’s currently on his mind… the obsession of the moment, if you will. I just knew this pregnancy would get his doodle finger itchin’ to sketch a lil somethin’!

This illustration is c-l-e-a-r-l-y looking into the future because I haven’t quite reached this point in my pregnancy yet, but apparently, someone’s excited to be a dad! He really captured our general likenesses very well, even down to the way he’s crouching. But wow, look how generous he was with my hair! 🙂

Super sweet, right?! I think I might just frame this and put it up in what will become Micah’s room or somewhere in the home. We shall see. I know I’ll be using it for something. Right now, I’m just concentrating on not fall asleep while typing blog posts (it’s happened!) and try to keep myself as active as possible so I don’t gain 1,000 pounds! (It’s so weird, all I want are potatoes. And I’ll take ’em in any form — baked, mashed, fries, chips…)
